These photos were taken during a 3600 km trip from Adelaide to Birdsville and back. There were no problems with the 27 Whippet but the 29 Whippet suffered 2 flat tyres and a generator failure, not bad for unrestored cars on unsealed roads ! The journey raised $30,000 for the "Make A Wish" charity helping to sponsor children in need. The Jet Ranger helecoptor provided back up and film coverage during the trip.
