Ray Hardy sent in these photos of his grandfather's 1927 Whippet taken at Scarborough and Cleveland near Brisbane in Queensland, Australia.
He writes that the wooden swastika on the radiator was innocently made by his grandfather during his cabinet making training days and when these pictures were taken (1928), it did not have any Nazi
connotations.
Thanks Ray, we love looking at original photos like these ! Accessories include cowl mounted parking lamps, fold out sun visor, running board step plates, bumper bar and wind wings (deflectors). Who says all Whippets are the same !
